We see these infographics and articles all the time. 11 reasons why you should do something (see below) or 10 reasons this new wonderful discovery is good for you. But are they really?

Can you believe what you read or should you do your own research and come to your own conclusions. I believe you should do the latter.

I have endeavoured to look into the claims made on this Coconut oil infographic ( Read Benefits of Coconut Oil – Fat or Fiction), not as a means to debunk anything,  but simply to highlight that what you read on the internet may or may not have any grounding in responsible scientific research. Always be wary of research that is sponsored by the company that sells the product. They will always be biased.
